Mark Gurman, writing in his PowerOn Newsletter on Bloomberg.com, mentions the possibility of a new iPad Mini being announced at Apple’s “Welcome Home” event on Tuesday:

An OLED iPad mini is also on the docket, and I’m hearing it will be considerably more expensive than today’s $599 model. My guess is something closer to $799. In addition to the new screen, expect the A20 Pro chip, a relocated FaceTime camera and a revamped speaker system.

As an iPad Mini fan, I’m curious to see how this one pans out. I’d love to see a version of the iPad Mini with an M-Series chip at some point in the future, though, for now, I’ll definitely settle for whatever upgrade(s) Apple is willing to give us!
